Canadian Water Network Foundation (CWN Foundation)

Priority projects and initiatives

In its first phase, the CWN Foundation is focused on developing a small number of high-impact priority initiatives. These priorities reflect areas where early philanthropic investment can have a catalytic effect and where Canadian Water Network (CWN) brings deep expertise and strong partnerships. These initiatives are in development and will be launched in phases. We are not accepting applications for funding at this time.

Water Leadership Academy

A new program to support the advancement and leadership success of water professionals from equity deserving groups.

Indigenous Water Initiatives Fund

Water Careers Program

A new program that supports internships and mentoring for post-secondary students from equity-deserving groups who are pursuing education for water management and related careers.

Water Research and Innovation Fund

A fund to support solutions-oriented, applied research, and pilot projects with the potential to advance water management practice and innovation in Canada, and to strengthen pathways from research to real-world application.
